Thomas Stanley Holland, the star of Spider-man is renowned for his incredible performances on stage and on set from the West End to Hollywood. He’s been in over 20 movies winning 15 awards. On the northwest side of Canada lies British Columbia. Full of lakes, mountains and glaciers, it’s a stunning place. One of British Columbia’s unique attractions is the Columbia ice fields. It formed between 238,000 to 126,000 BCE. This was close to the time when humans were learning to farm near the Tigris, Euphrates and Nile rivers over 10,000 kilometers away. It’s elevation is over 3,000 meters above sea level and it’s 1,000 feet of solid ice. It receives 21 feet of snowfall every year and the melt waters from it’s three major glaciers feeds six oceans. Word of the Year: TRUST
Trust, that’s my word for the year. Trust myself. Last year, my word was speaking up for myself (ok, that’s not really a word but just bear with me for a minute). I chose the idea of speaking up for myself last year because I wanted to learn how to speak up for what I truly want. I wanted to express my feelings, and be able to say no. Yep, you know that word. The Greatest Showman – LEGO Model
After seeing the dazzling circus musical movie I was inspired to build this LEGO set. I enjoy building LEGO models based on movies, places or stories I’ve seen. I decided to build the circus building where most of the movie takes place. It was a tough but fun build. I knew from the start I didn’t want to just have the building. I wanted functions and details. One of them is the trapeze where Anne Wheeler (Zendaya) flies above the show below. The characters were also fun to make. The year of 2019 has come to an end and a whole new decade has arrived. This last year has been an adventure for me and I hope it was for you too.
