NaNoWriMo 2019
In 2019, I attended NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. This is where adults, teens and kids come together to write an entire book in the month of November. Anywhere from 30,000 to 100,000 words. It can be fantasy, thriller, adventure, memoir, just about anything. I had done NaNoWriMo before in 2018 for my first book, Animals: A New Generation. But for 2019, I took on a new book, LEGO Master. I had started it the year before, but I decided it was time to finish it. When November came around, we were in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland. Did you know that Scotland’s national animal is a unicorn? No I’m…

Lego Stores Around The World
If you know me, I love LEGO’s. I also love LEGO stores and since my family and I travel full time as nomads, I have seen many LEGO stores around the world. One of the prompts for doing this was when my good friend at the LEGO store in the Alderwood Mall introduced me to LEGO passports. If you have one, you can get stamps from any and every LEGO store you go to around the world. You can also collect unique passports from those places like German and Italian passports. So, that’s exactly what we did. Rome The LEGO store in Rome is pretty cool. It has large scale…

Meeting the X-Men Coach, Jim Kwik
Jim Kwik is well known as a transformational speaker, entrepreneur, brain coach and CEO of the Kwik Learning program based in L.A. He’s coached, and taught thousands of people the power of speed reading, and how to improve memory. On top of that, he’s worked with big names like Harrison Ford, Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins and many more. Jim is also a frequent speaker at Mindvalley University, Mindvalley Live, and A-Fest which is how I met him. But before I get to our first meeting, let me tell you how it all started. In 2018, my family and I stumbled upon a documentary series called Transcendence, and one…

Young Achiever Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran has become a singing sensation selling over 26 million albums and 100 million singles. He’s toured to over 40 countries, debuted in 13 movies and has sang alongside big names like DJ Khalid and Justin Bieber. But before all the fame and fortune, he was like any other kid strumming his guitar in his bedroom. Edward Christopher Sheeran was born in Halifax, Yorkshire England in 1991, Feb 17. At the age of 4, Edward sang in a choir at a local church. He picked up the guitar while at Rishworth High School and began to write his own songs at Thomas Mills High School In Flamlingham. One of…

Ireland Travel Diary
Green hills, crashing waters, stone circles and epic castles. There’s nothing anywhere that can match Ireland If you want to see the true beauty of this country, southern Ireland is the place to go. There’s this magical essence wherever you look. Discoveries have shown that civilization in Ireland dates back all the way to 10,500 BC. That’s 12,500 years ago, and you can tell. There are 187 stone circles, 1400 ruins, 387 known passage tombs and 30,000 castles scattered all around Ireland. My family and I were there for a month and even then we couldn’t have seen everything Ireland has to offer. For years and years Ireland was the…

Abominable
There are many names that describe these fantastical creatures. Yeti, Mountain man, but most know them by the Abominable. I recently got the chance to see the new Abominable movie. It was so good! The story is about a yeti who possesses magical powers. Lost in the city of Beijing far from his home, he stumbles across a girl who is also struggling to find her place. On the run from a scientific organization, they take off across China to Mount Everest, towards the yeti’s home. With every step closer to the Himalayas, the yeti, now named Everest and his magical powers grow stronger as he discovers his true potential.…

My Little Big Shots Submission
When my family and I were still living in Seattle Washington, one of my favorite shows was Little Big Shots. Hosted by the famous comedian Steve Harvey, Little Big Shots is a series of episodes where kids extraordinary talents and skill come to share them with the world. They’re like Young Achievers. They had all kinds of widely talented kids. A 4 year old Bruce Lee, cotton candy expert, country singer, dancers, 3 year old basketball player, young chefs, young pianist, you name it. Some of the kids I guarantee will surprise you. Now, if you know anything about me, you know I love LEGO’s. It’s one of my biggest…
