Most are based on sights in and around Prague while others showcase superheroes, prisons, exquisite libraries, huge mini figures all made out of LEGO’s. All the LEGO models in the exibition combined make up 2,9 tons of LEGO bricks that took 1885 business to construct. And the end result is quite spectacular. As well as having big complex buildings there are also little easter egg scenes in a few models. One of the biggest models is the Lego…

    Young Achievers Group 2

A month ago I started this Young Achievers Series to share incredible stories of kids and teens who accomplished what some used to believe was impossible for their age. I wanted to show that people, no matter their age can pursue what excites them without waiting to “grow up”. In doing so I’ve gotten numerous comments on my posts and to my surprise they suggested more Young Achievers I hadn’t even heard of. So this next month I’ll be sharing some of those stories. I want to inspire you to do what you love. It’s never too late, nor too early to start. Greta Thunberg She is proof that young…

Every year as the sun rises above the horizon, its rays align perfecting between the stones at Stonehenge. This occurs during the Equinox’s and Solstices at Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. During that time anyone can go for free and the best part, you get to go right up to the stones and touch them. If that wasn’t enough, many dress like druids and medieval men and women. Heroes of Tomorrow Mini Movie

They’re, brave. They’re fierce. They’re corky, they’re…kids? Yep it’s the Heroes of Tomorrow! The idea for this came after watching the trailer for Shazam about a kid who discovers he has super powers. It was during our last month in Seattle before we set off on our 2019 nomadic trip in Europe. I had wanted to make a mini movie and it was when I was discussing ideas with my parents that the idea came. “What if we made something like Shazam? Kids who discover they had super powers?” I loved it. So that’s what we did. We got a few friends together, got costumes, props, everything we needed. The…

    LEGO Hamilton Musical

Inspired by the broadway musical Hamilton, I’ve built this LEGO recreation of Lin Manuel’s master piece. It was great fun recreating the grand broadway stage and its detail. Before I’ve created LEGO models of movies, historical sights but this is my first musical. I wanted to have everything from the staircase to the turning floor in the center where the final duel takes place. The characters were fun to make as well as I wanted the mini figures to resemble the original cast of the musical. A quick backstory to the making of the musical. Lin Manuel Miranda while acting in the musical In The Heights came across a big…

You may have heard the tragic story of Pompeii’s fall. This once splendid city had faced the eruption of mount Vesuvius in 79 AD wiping out all civilization in not only Pompeii but Oplontis, Stabiae and many other settlements in the area. But before all that Pompeii has quite a history. The people that first settled there were actually greeks until it fell to Roman influence. Elegant houses and villas lined the cobblestone streets alongside Taverns, shops, bathhouses. There was even 20,000 seat arena for the citizens. The city grew and grew. There was about 12,000 people living in Pompeii when mount Vesuvius erupted. Ruins remind us that as time…
