    LEGO Medieval Village

This is my LEGO Medieval Village creation! I love building all kinds of different LEGO creations based on plays, movies, famous sites and buildings, really anything that inspires me. But I don’t really build big scale models that often. I wanted to make something big. I’ve visited the LEGO event Brick-Con in Seattle twice and marveled at the incredibly big creations. Castles, cities, ships, battle scenes. The details and scale were just amazing. So one day I collected all my pieces and began to build, big time. I decided my setting was going to be a medieval port town. It was quite a challenge. I only had a limited supply…

    Venice Travel Diary

It’s the Floating City, the City of Masks, the City of Water, the City of Canals, the Queen of the Adriatic. What? Ok fine I’ll get on with it. It’s Venice! With over 400 gondoliers rowing on the 150 canals, Venice is the sight to see. Join the 30 million tourists that visit the island every year and gawk at the amazing scenery. The city you see today actually sits on a marshy lagoon. The first inhabitants fleeing from barbarians hid on the island of Torcello, Iesolo, and Malamocco that made up the lagoon. To make the foundation of the city they had to drain out parts of the lagoon, dig…

    Joke Time! 🍪

I want to tell you a joke. You might be thinking, is this a joke Joshua made up himself that’s really bad, or is it actually decent. It depends on your point of view. So let’s get into it. What kind of cookie laughs a lot? Take a guess. Don’t know? Alright… A Snicker-doodle. I got the idea for this joke on my birthday. We had a box of snicker-doodles and I noticed how the word started with snicker. So I did a bit of word play and voila! Sorry, I was just taking a sip of my hot chocolate (Ok I’m not actually drinking hot chocolate now, it was just for the intro). I love hot chocolate, it’s like my coffee. Most are based on sights in and around Prague while others showcase superheroes, prisons, exquisite libraries, huge mini figures all made out of LEGO’s. All the LEGO models in the exibition combined make up 2,9 tons of LEGO bricks that took 1885 business to construct. And the end result is quite spectacular. Young Achievers Group 2

A month ago I started this Young Achievers Series to share incredible stories of kids and teens who accomplished what some used to believe was impossible for their age. I wanted to show that people, no matter their age can pursue what excites them without waiting to “grow up”. In doing so I’ve gotten numerous comments on my posts and to my surprise they suggested more Young Achievers I hadn’t even heard of. So this next month I’ll be sharing some of those stories. I want to inspire you to do what you love. It’s never too late, nor too early to start. Greta Thunberg She is proof that young…
