LEGO Star Wars Star killer Base

From Star Wars Episode 7 the Force Awakens The epic Star Killer Base comes into the world of LEGO. There’s this one LEGO set which you may have seen, The LEGO Death Star. With 4016 LEGO pieces it’s an extreme set built with different rooms, each portraying a different scene from the movie. Then one day I had an idea “What if I made something like that? I looked up images of the LEGO Death Star to help me get an idea…

    Young Achiever Christopher Paolini

Christopher Paolini is the New York Times bestselling author of Eragon, and the Inheritance Cycle series. But before all that, he was a kid with a big idea. Christopher was born on November 17, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. He was homeschooled for the duration of his education before graduating out of high school around the age of 15. If I spent my time worrying about what other people would think of my work, I would be too self-conscious to write. Christopher Paolini At the time, he had been reading fiction and fantasy and fell in love with the genre. There was one particular book which was his favorite called…

    200 Days of Magic Moments

June 24, 2019. It was the first day of Mindvalley University where the whole world shifted for me. By the third day of the event, so many magic moments had already happened, and I knew I wanted to keep track of it all. During one of the introductory talks, the speaker Vishen Lakhiani who is CEO of Mindvalley, told us that every morning, we should write an intention and at the end of the day write anything that stood out to you. So, that night I got out my notebook and wrote all the serendipitous, incredible, out of the blue experiences that happened. 200 days later, I have a full…

Peril of the President Mini Movie

The President is in danger! There is no escape. Only the hope of a brave security officer who might be able to save the day. What will happen? Find out in Peril of the President! Here’s a bit of the story behind the thriller. The Camp David scene was in the lobby of the community center we were staying at. But a group of kids were already in the lobby so we couldn’t shoot cause they’d be too loud and get in the shots. The other option was to do it at our house which I didn’t want to do cause it didn’t capture what I had in mind. So…

LEGO Mission Impossible 6 Helicopter Chase

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it… read this article about my LEGO Mission Impossible 6 helicopter chase scene. After seeing the action packed movie, I was inspired to recreate the epic helicopter chase scene with LEGO’s. The helicopter itself was quite a challenge, everything from the landing gear to the tail. I used techniques I don’t normally use which was really fun working with. I did my best to keep all the details from the movie, the hatch doors, cockpit, even the lettering on the tail. Fun fact, after filming the helicopter chase they had a total of 70 hours of footage which was whittled down to seven…

    Athens Travel Diary

Athens, the capitol of Greece is packed with culture and history that lines its streets. The city’s main attraction is the Acropolis. Built high above the city of Athens, Acropolis literally means upper city. In the center of it all is the Pantheon, dedicated to Athena. It’s now a sand-colored row of columns but in the past, it was hard marble and would have glowed in the Greek sun. It’s been discussed whether the name of the city came from the goddess of wisdom Athena or she took her name from the city. One of the stories behind the name of the city is that Poseidon, the god of the…
